Colin Boland

Colin has had a wide and varied career in the music industry. Musician, Sound Engineer, Artist Management, Record Producer and Production Manager. Starting his professional career in the late seventies he quickly became known for the high quality of his work and toured extensively until the late eighties when he wrote the syllabus and ran the Fas course on 'Live Sound and Stage Production' and performed in the nationally successful band 'The Big Noise'. Since 1990 Colin has mainly worked internationally on one off events, television specials and touring with artists such as Sarah Brightman, S Club, Russell Watson etc.. whilst concurrently maintaining a career in recording engineering and production. In 1999 he co-founded Alcocol Production Services Ltd.which later became MIX and runs the audio and administration side of the business.
